After twelve years working for Penguin Random House, I decided to leave my job and go freelance as an editor and children's book author. I have written and edited books about Star Wars, LEGO, selling your startup, zombies, Spider-Man, and a very silly Santa. I love the variety of freelancing. What new challenge will you throw my way?

I am based in London, UK.

I believe that the written word, like language, is fluid and always evolving. And I will use 'and', 'because' and 'but' at the start of a sentence. Because I like to. But nothing.

My favourite colour is green, even though when I worked for a publishing house it was drilled into us that 'Green Doesn't Sell'.

I am a mother to four young boys, aged 8, 6, 4 and 1.
