After twelve years working for Penguin Random House, I decided to leave my job and go freelance as an editor and children's book author. I have written and edited books about Star Wars, LEGO, selling your startup, zombies, Spider-Man, and a very silly Santa. I love the variety of freelancing. What new challenge will you throw my way?

Did you know...

It's nice to know a little bit about the people you choose to work with, so here goes:

  • I am based in London, UK.

  • I believe that the written word, like language, is fluid and always evolving. And I will use 'and', 'because' and 'but' at the start of a sentence. Because I like to. But nothing.

  • My favourite colour is green, even though when I worked for a publishing house it was drilled into us that 'Green Doesn't Sell'.

  • I am a mother to four young boys, aged 8, 6, 4 and 1.

  • I have a side business self-publishing books, journals, planners and prints. You can see more of this here. 

  • My favourite Star Wars movie is The Force Awakens, a fact that often upsets 'diehard' Star Wars fans. #sorrynotsorry
